Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Every time I visit the dashboard I reset the date range on the charts from 24h (the default) to last month.

Describe the solution you'd like
Please add an option in settings to specify the default range for the charts on the dashboard.

This is something I'd also like to see. I prefer the month view to see trends over the longer time period, but is annoying to set it every time.

Thought I saw a note about this in the recent 0.16 or 0.17 release notes but now I can't find it. Is it still something that isn't possible to do?

It's possible for sure, just haven't gotten around to it yet and I'll be getting rid of each chart having a separate "range" dropdown. One dropdown will control all charts (finally).

Just checking back in case I missed it in the hubbub of all the major releases that have been flying by. This is not possible yet, correct? (Appver: 0.20.7)

Not yet, loosely speaking I'm moving on to writing an API next which will enable a full rewrite of the dashboard which will implement this feature.

This feels like such a huge oversight that its almost as if a developer does not even uses their own product.

@DoTheEvo I think your expectations do not match that of a free tool made as a hobby. if it's mission-critical for you, consider contributing or forking the repo.
