Attributes are the only way to track changeable player data in Gamebook Engine.

The only way to view current Attributes and add new ones is via the Attributes screen, accessible from the Rule and Consequence editors.

Default Value

When the game starts or is reset, all Attributes default a value of 0.0.

If you want an attribute to have a different value when the game starts, use Consequences on the first page to Set them.

Name

An attribute only has one configurable value, its name. This can be anything you like, an emoji, a string with spaces, it doesn't matter. Name it whatever works best for you. At the moment, name cannot be changed later.
