This is something that shouldn't be too difficult - and it's actual one of the main reasons why I made cocoshop instead of using CocosBuilder. I wanted it so I could hard code everything in and not have to rely on the .csd loading.

Ok, it's your choice and probably it will be good alternative for CSD for some users.
But I should mention that hard coding scenes in big project can lead to bigger executable and it will be harder to maintain the code. This is why Interface Builder uses xib files.

I'll look at creating an icon for the code generation item guys.

I like the 9a. But it looks more like cocos2d console ;)
How about mixing *.m file icon with the cocoshop colors?
Or maybe source file icon with cocos2d watermark on it.

Stepan

Which icons do you mean? i.e. the *.m or source file icon? Can you point me to what they look like - do you mean the icons in xcode or here on github? :) I'll whip something up once I have an idea!

I mean something like this: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1765875/icon.png with cocos2d watermark (transparent logo) on it.
But maybe it should contain horizontal lines instead of text like in Sprite List.

Since code generation will be only for Cocos2d-iphone (Objective-C) - then maybe square brackets can be used.
Something like this, but with cocos2d logo instead of octocat. [ :octocat: ]

icon9c - this is what i was talking about! The only addition - ".m" text can be different color ot with white shadow to distinguish it.

I like 9cii.
As for me - remove brackets and maybe move .m at the bottom of the sheet. ( but maybe without lowering m it will be better) - and we will get ideal icon.

Good work, as usual, thanks for helping!

Btw, what editor for creating this artworks do you use?

Best Regards,
Stepan

Labeled "experimental". Removed from 0.2 Milestone - not important for me.
