Using this extension will add three new buttons to the supported website players. A skip opening and ending button, a submit menu button and a vote menu button. It will also add timestamp indicators to the player indicating where the opening and ending times are.

Skip Opening and Ending Button

This will appear during the duration of an opening or ending. You can click them to skip to the end of the opening or ending.

Options

You can set the default action of skip times by opening the Aniskip icon. By default the skip buttons will appear during an opening and ending.

  • Disabled will disable the skip time indicators. Skip times will not be fetched.
  • Auto skip will enable the skip time indicators. When the opening or ending begins, it will be automatically skipped without user confirmation.
  • Manual skip will enable the skip time indicators. When the opening or ending begins, a skip opening or skip ending button will appear. Clicking this button will skip the opening or ending.

Submit Menu

The submit menu can be used to submit skip times. Upon opening the menu, the start time is set to the current player time and the end time is set the start time +90s (usual opening and ending length). Submitting a skip time will allow it to be received by others.

  • You can fine-tune the start and end time using the forward and backward buttons. These buttons will seek the currently selected time (start time or end time) +- 0.25s. You can also use the keys j and l to move the selected time 0.25s forwards and backwards respectively. Using the shift key with j or l will move the currently selected time by 0.1s.
  • The preview button shows you what the skip time will look like when auto skipped. Use this check the skip time before submission.
  • The now button will set the currently selected time to the current player time.
  • The end button will set the currently selected time to the ending of the episode.
  • The skip type drop-down allows you to pick the type of skip time (opening or ending).
  • Submit button will add the skip time to the player and submit it to the server for everyone to use.

Vote Menu

The vote menu will allow you to vote on skip times. This will allow you to remove badly annotated skip times and upvote the good ones.

Pressing the upvote button will add one vote for the skip time. This will allow the skip time to appear more often compared to other skip times of the same type. Downvoting will remove the skip time from the player and will mark it as badly annotated.
