As the story unfolds I have the impression that libera.chat may not be the best place to go either, both parties involved in the current conflict seems to be tainted.
While initially I did not like OFTC, now I changed my opinion as they were not part of the issue and pre-existed long time before libera.chat was created (under the radar). OFTC was already the backup plan of openstack/opendev and they are mainly waiting to see what Ansible community decides before doing the move.
If Ansible community goes for OFTC, I am confident they will follow quickly. If libera is picked probably they will want to wait a little bit more just to avoid having to move it again if it does not prove as a wise "bet'.
I am really curious if someone could make a survey among users with 3 options: wait, libera, oftc.

Do not merge until it's decided that we're moving to libera.chat (as opposed to oftc or another network): ansible-community/community-topics#19
