Discussion on displaying navigation bar categories

Currently, after adding a new monitor, this type of monitor is not displayed in the left navigation bar, but you need to go to the template editing page to open the corresponding monitor template to choose to show or hide it, which I don't think is friendly to newbies. I think a new function could be written to push the monitor type to the left menu when the user adds the first monitor of some kind. I don't think this would consume a lot of time for the user, as there is no bulk import involved that would trigger this function. And I think when the user is adding some kind of monitor, he must want to show the category of this monitor directly on the left side, otherwise the user's action is unnecessary. Manually hiding it is something that can be done as part of the tutorial if the user wants to hide it.

How about this solution:

Add a form item in the new monitoring interface to allow users to choose whether to add this type to the left-side navigation for quick access when creating a new entry. Also, provide a prompt indicating that this can be enabled or disabled in the monitoring template definition interface.

Then, implement the logic to check when a user adds the first monitor of a certain type—at that point, push the monitor type to the left-side menu.

If more users want it to be displayed, we will display it by default.
When a user logs in for the first time, We can tell it how to hide.
