I noticed that with the latest version of Atom (from sources), opening the settings view trigger a reload of all the user config files (stylesheet, config, etc...), which produce a huge lag when opening the view.

It seems it also occurs whenever a setting is changed. This make using the settings view unusable as the least change lock atom for at least 2 or 3s on my iMac.
