Welcome to the GvBi wiki!

GvBi is for updating the video URLs of cameras streamed from a Geovision DVR. It was tested with Blue Iris version 4 64 bit on Windows 7 against Geovision 8 and 16 camera DVR cards.

If you upgraded from Blue Iris 3 to 4 check your registry (regedit.exe) to see that you have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\Cameras or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\Cameras but not both. If you have both you probably want to remove HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\Cameras. GvBi uses the first it finds so if it seems to be updating the registry fine but Blue Iris is not seeing the URL change, this is probably the problem.

While you are in there you probably want to give yourself full permissions on the Cameras key so you do not need to run GvBi as Administrator.
