Figured out pi4 won't make and got a pi3a. It's working well with pi3a. |

At first, this pull request was to try out using pi5. The PI5 GPIO are not compatible with previous generations of PIs.
I have then decided to try to use the example with a PI4. I am not getting anything rendered to the screen.
Could you help out?
