Fix for opening external files (e.g. pdfs)

fix: external links (e.g. pdfs) are not opened by their app

Fixed external images

The same as initial version, but with fix for downloading external images.
If the image source refers to some external url, the previous version is not able display the image.

Initital version

This version mostly works and can be used for testing.
There are a lot of issues though.
