Off Line Use and Displays
(Not a Grbl_ESP32 display)
We often get questions about the use of local displays for off line use. There is currently no support for this built into the code. This has not been a priority on the development roadmap because you can run files via SD card and control them via smartphone, tablet and PC. All current Grbl_ESP32 controllers have an SD card. Gcode can be loaded directly from a PC onto the card or upload via WiFi.
There have been a few separate projects started by others to add this capability, but none have been completed yet. It would not be difficult to add a wired or wireless display. You can discuss this on our Discord server, but be respectful of the Grbl_ESP32 developers working on higher priority features.
