Description

Using String Templates caused checkstyle to fail due to unsupported rules.

There is an open PR, so it is going to be officially supported soon. checkstyle/checkstyle#13830 (comment)

However, they provided the following temporary workaround to suppress errors regarding String Templates
checkstyle/checkstyle#12542 (comment).

Backend/s tested

Mark the backends affected by this PR.

  • OpenCL
  • PTX
  • SPIRV

OS tested

Mark the OS where this PR is tested.

  • Linux
  • OSx
  • Windows

How to test the new patch?

make checkstyle

A property has been added to the Checkstyle configuration to prevent the system from halting on exceptions. In addition, a temporary workaround module "SuppressionSingleFilter" has been introduced to handle IllegalStateExceptions that occur during file parsing. This modification anticipates the provision of proper support for String Templates.
