Seems a bad boundation release broke it and it hasn't been detected since:

e365f25#diff-f61fbd23dd2c16becb15b6d32c5147d13587b08a6dc7280a12d2170c4db7faeaR3

probably thought types can only be typescript, and not js

this is roadblock for bevry/watchr#102
