About

myDapp is decentralized application (dapp) powered by cartesi rollups technology.

It's a simple voting system executed through a smart contract on the ethereum network. This DApp leverage blockchain security and decentralized structure to improve voting system, there by providing trust and confidence to the voters on the credibility of the result.

Getting Started

Below you'll find instructions on how to setup this DApp locally.

Prerequisites

Here are some packages needed to successfully run this application on your PC:

• NodeJS, npm, yarn

• Docker

• Cartesi-CLI

  npm install -g @cartesi/cli

For Windows, its recommended to have Ubuntu WSL installed then installing docker on the Linux sub system. This article provide step by step guide on how to successfully install docker on Ubuntu WSL 2 here

Installation

1. Clone this repo

   git clone https://github.com/Bibhestee/myDapp.git

2. Install NPM packages

   yarn  install

3. Build and run the dapp via cartesi-cli

   cartesi build 

   and

   cartesi run 

NB: Reliable internet connectivity is paramount for building cartesi docker image
