Welcome to the hbprotocol wiki!

hbprotocol defines and implements a low level protocol shared between a few different hoverboard repositories.

It features two facets

a reliable machine orientated binary protocol for machine control purposes.
An ASCII orientated protocol for general control/experimentation by a human.

Both protocols may be active at the same time on the same serial line.

NOTES!!!:

Ascii prototcol only works after typing 'unlockASCII' once.
If you are no having luck, try 'Fa' from the Ascii protocol, and check your flash!!! - especially if you upgraded. The firmware won't work very well if it's limiting current to Zero!.
