This should probably have some more smarts, to know when to update and when not to, but at least this prevents the need to have the `helm` binary installed locally, to be able to update repositories.
If the default path is used, and it does not exist, no error is returned. If a non-default path exists and it does not exist, an error is returned. If an empty path is used, no error is returned.
