  • GNU ls and OpenBSD ls set the -a flag if -f is set
  • Standards document also mentions -f "shall turn on -a" [1]
  • Print usage and exit for unknown options instead of ignoring them
  • Remove ancient commented code
  • POD: add missing text in ENVIRONMENT section to make podchecker happy
  • POD: mention that -f implies -a
