In order to have syntax highlighting available in GitHub (both in markdown and in the file editor associated to .wit extension), we need to add the textmate file located in this repo to the grammar index of the Linguist repo (more details here).

After the last release, the syntax highlighting for WIT has finally made its way to the public GitHub website:
