gh extension to output language-specific statistics for services in monorepo

Installation

gh extension install chaspy/gh-monorepo-stats

To upgrade,

gh extension upgrade chaspy/gh-monorepo-stats

Usage

gh monorepo-stats

Output example:

backend1, Gemfile, Ruby, 3121
backend2, go.mod, Go, 2189
frontend, yarn.lock, TypeScript, 10876

Ignore File

You can ignore files by creating a .gh-monorepo-stats-ignore file in the root of the repository.

# Specify directory to ignore
# This line will be ignored
app/__generated__ # This line also will be ignored
app/tests/data/__generated__ # You can comment here

# Blank line will be ignored
frontend/tests/data/__generated__

If you set IGNORE_DIRS environment variables, it will be ignored.

Environment Variables

Name	Description
GH_REPO	The repository to query. Defaults to the current repository.
IGNORE_PATH	List of path for ignoring to output LOC. it should be comma separated like IGNORE_PATH="app1/generated/path.go,app2/generated.path.go"
IGNORE_DIRS	List of directory for ignoring to output LOC. it should be comma separated like IGNORE_DIRS="app1/generated,app2/generated"
