[BUG]: The batch that keeps on batching #2113

Description of changes

This is an exploratory PR to verify the following scenario which are found to be failing:

  • Add (n>batch_size)
  • Update/Upsert (i in HNSW)
  • Delete (i)
  • Get (i)
  • Query (i)
  • Add (i)
  • Get (i)

Test plan

How are these changes tested?

  • Tests pass locally with pytest for python, yarn test for js, cargo test for rust
