I am sorry to announce that I will no longer be able to maintain this project, due to lack of time, lack of VR headset, and the loss of our web host (don't forget to provide SSL for headset use).
Probably a good thing because I'm absolutely not a web developer.
I hope this project will be useful as a starting point :)
Some avenues for improvement :
- An optimized resource management ( like as preloaded the next two potential videos after selecting a choice )
- Three.js cache management
- Higher order Ambisonic
- Automatic network speed test to switch between SD and HQ quality video ( for now there are two "different" site, one with 10 Mbits/s vidéo and one "HQ" in the url with 100 Mbits/s )
- A good refacto lmao
