Magikoopa

Magikoopa is 0 10 x y and is really just a basic sprite.

Some things of note:

  • he requires terrain to be able to stand on, otherwise he will never appear
  • he seems to have a limited range related to where he is placed in the level, but so far have not figured out exactly what it is
  • his spells only spawn green koopas and mushrooms in SMA4
  • he requires graphic sets [-1, -1, -1, [2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,a,b,c,d,e,f], -1, c]
    • note the fourth slot is to enable the koopas to show up correctly, otherwise they will be garbled
    • the final slot, c, is so magikoopa himself shows up correctly
