It is very likely that the current package version for this feedstock is out of date.

Dependency Analysis

Please note that this analysis is highly experimental. The aim here is to make maintenance easier by inspecting the package's dependencies. Importantly this analysis does not support optional dependencies, please double check those before making changes. If you do not want hinting of this kind ever please add bot: inspection: disabled to your conda-forge.yml. If you encounter issues with this feature please ping the bot team conda-forge/bot.

Analysis by source code inspection shows a discrepancy between it and the the package's stated requirements in the meta.yaml.

Packages found by source code inspection but not in the meta.yaml:

  • pyro4

Packages found in the meta.yaml but not found by source code inspection:

  • six

Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/meta.yaml) and found it was in an excellent condition.

@mpenkov seems like python 3.12 is not yet fully supported - maybe for now it could be limited to python <=3.11 so that version 4.3.3 can be released? The numpy/scipy fix in that release is quite crucial to be available.

@hechth What actually needs to be done here? It sounds like this is a problem with conda-forge and not gensim.

@mpenkov I also don't understand why the docker build fails but I can see the problem is only with python 3.12 - it seems to be some issue with cython, it comes up quite often when just googling for it. Maybe just limit it to python 3.11 for now?

Are you able to make a PR?

I've literally never touched any of this conda stuff. I don't use conda, and have little interest in getting it to play well with gensim.
