Manually update pip/setuptools... #186

...to guard against deprecation failures.
pip and setuptools are smart enough to work
out version compatibility for the current os/Py.

Also bypasses ancient pypa/setuptools#937

Maintainers will complete the following section

  • Commit messages are descriptive enough
  • Code coverage from testing does not decrease and new code is covered
  • JSON/YAML configuration changes are updated in the relevant schema
  • Pull request has a link to an osbs-docs PR for user documentation updates

Congratulations! One of the builds has completed. 🍾

You can install the built RPMs by following these steps:

  • sudo yum install -y dnf-plugins-core on RHEL 8
  • sudo dnf install -y dnf-plugins-core on Fedora
  • dnf copr enable packit/containerbuildsystem-koji-containerbuild-186
  • And now you can install the packages.

Please note that the RPMs should be used only in a testing environment.
