Manage Themes

Under the Manage Themes panel, you will find the below segments:

  • Global Themes
  • Upload a theme
  • Users themes option
  • Toggle Users themes

The Global Theme is the default theme for all users. It is the Global Theme. If the user themes option is enabled, and a user has set their own theme, then their theme will take precedence. There is also an option here for you to Remove a theme, once removed, it is gone for good.

Make sure to click the Save button to update this selection.

Next, there is an Upload a theme area. Only css files can be uploaded, and once you have selected your file, just click the Add Theme button. The theme will be uploaded to the data folder, and will be retained during upgrades of Kanboard or Customizer.

The next area, User Theme Options has a nice button for you, Reset all users themes. By clicking this button, all Users themes will be cleared, and will force all users back to the sites Global Theme.

The last segment, Toggle Users Themes, has a button to disable or enable individual users ability to select their own theme.

Once enabled, users can set their theme in their Edit Profile page.

Admins can also edit the users theme selection, through the User Management area, via the drop down option Edit for each user.
