Hey @anyazz / maintainers, what would be required to get this reopened and merged? I'm having a play with it and it looks like a really useful feature. |

This adds an option for g.graph().ranker to be a manual ranking function and makes rank a node attribute. Since edges between nodes with the same (manually determined) rank become possible, it also adds a function for counting crossings within a single layer.
