I would like this dropdown to include the GitHub username that is currently logged in. It is possible for a user to have more than one GitHub username, for instance one for personal use and one associated with a company. This dropdown does not allow a user to determine which GitHub account they are currently using.

@mvandenburgh, do we have access to the GH username via OAuth information? If so this should be a relatively easy and valuable enhancement; if not, let's discuss what it would take to get us there.

Yes, the /api/users/me/ endpoint returns the current user's github username in the username field.
