Code-Server running with docker-compose, nginx proxy and ssl secured

Code-server is VS Code running on a container, secured with ssl and LetsEncrypt certificate.

Containers used

• LinuxServer -> Code-Server
• jwilder -> Nginx Proxy
• jrcs -> LetsEncrypt nginx

Parameters to adjust

vscode Container:

• Folder config/.ssh, you need the private key previous the compose up
• PASSWORD=
• SUDO_PASSWORD=
• PROXY_DOMAIN=
• VIRTUAL_HOST=
• LETSENCRYPT_HOST=

When VSCode are started, you can adjust the username and email for git use, with the terminal. (Menu-> New Terminal)
