I think I found the part that was leading to wallet dead lock. At least now there were no block hangs for me while I got them pretty often running on current code (same for 0.12.0.x). Instead there are few "dsi -- transaction failed" which I believe come from failed lock rather than AcceptToMemoryPool (and it's fine, you could be charged collateral sometimes however but not on every fail, so again it's fine imo). I guess it's better to fail here than to lock wallet completely and stop receiving next blocks because of that.
It's interesting to see how that patch would work for someone else, please give it a test.

PS. That however is yet another dirty temporary solution just to make things running, we would need to implement smth a bit more smarter later.

…o fail here than to lock wallet and stop recieving next blocks because of that

Arghhh... I was running this in debug mode more than a day with no issues, recompiled in normal mode and stuck almost right away :(

8fe63e5 Increase robustness against UB. Thanks to elichai2 who noted that the literal '1' is a signed integer, and that shifting a signed 32-bit integer by 31 bits causes an overflow and yields undefined behaviour. While 'scalar_low_impl''s 'secp256k1_scalar_cadd_bit' is only used for testing purposes and currently the 'bit' parameter is only 0 or 1, it is better to avoid undefined behaviour in case the used domain of 'secp256k1_scalar_cadd_bit' expands.

08209c0 Correctly limit overview transaction list (John Moffett)

Pull request description:

  Fixes dashpay#703

The way the main overview page limits the number of transactions displayed (currently 5) is not an appropriate use of Qt. Our subclassed transaction sort/filter proxy model returns a maximum of `5` in `rowCount()`. However, the model itself actually may hold significantly more. While this has _worked_, it breaks the contract of `rowCount()`.

If `bitcoin-qt` is run with a DEBUG build of Qt, it'll result in an assert-crash in certain relatively common situations (see dashpay#703 for details). Instead of artificially limiting the `rowCount()` in the subclassed filter, we can hide/unhide the rows in the displaying `QListView` upon any changes in the sorted proxy filter.

I loaded a wallet with 20,000 transactions and did not notice any performance differences between master and this branch.

For reference, this is the list I'm referring to:
