Danny Banks

Hello there! I am Principal Design Technologist currently working at AWS on AWS Amplify. Before that I worked on the mobile app for 3rd party sellers on Amazon for 7 years. We built a pretty cool server-rendered-native-UI framework with it. I love working at the intersection of design and technology, hence being a design technologist. I love working on design systems and design tokens. I even built a pretty popular design token framework called Style Dictionary. Throughout my work I'm realizing that, developer experience unlocks user experiences.

I currently live in San Jose, CA with my partner, 2 kids, and 2 cats.
