split up the different methods in the examples to make it more readable.

- Please make sure that all examples work
- Please make sure that all examples are technically correct
- Please squash commits, i.e. make sure your PR has one commit for one set of meaningful changes (not two commits correcting each other)
- Please rebase on top of
main - Please use more meaningful commit titles, and add a prefix (see commit history for examples)
