Hi there 👋

This is Shamir! I am a data engineer/scientist with proficiency in AWS and Azure.

👯 I’m currently working on two open-source projects:

  1. I am the Lead Data Engineer and Team Lead for an open-source RAG (GenAI/LLM) project to build an AI-based Q&A tool for 200+ history books.
  2. I am working as a data engineer on a real-time incident reporting and response system for flood victims.

⚡ I’m also working on a Data Engineering/ML project that retreives live CCTV feed from the 511ON website, generates a more meaningful dashboard showing the live feed and detects which cameras are malfunctioning.
