Cita 0.3.0 supports importing citations as BibTeX and many other formats from a file or the clipboard (#4), and adding citations by identifier (#111). These features, kindly contributed by @Dominic-DallOsto, greatly improve usability and provide a workaround for still unsupported adding items as citations to other items (#39) and extracting citations from PDFs (#61).
