From my point of view, this hidden functionality of Askama is the most interesting. This allows me to structure a base template with a skeleton and cover the sections in it with isolated templates. This feature is not visible in the documentation or in the tests. I did not find any reference in issues.
This pull request tries to solve the absence of references to this functionality.

Hey, you're right that this wasn't well documented, thanks for improving on that and sorry for the slow response in reviewing this -- it's been very busy. I merged your PR and subsequently polished it up a bit in 703ab6e, 37fb230 and 9a12888.
