Blender Typewriter Addon

Installation

1. Download the latest .zip file from the releases page
2. Open Blender
3. Go to Edit > Preferences, then select the Add-ons section
4. Click the "Install Add-on from File" button and navigate to the downloaded .zip file

Usage

1. Add a Font object to the 3D view (Shift+A > Text)

2. In the "Object Data" menu, scroll down to find the "Type Writer Effect" checkbox and enable it

   

3. Add text to the "Source Text" field. Alternatively, you can type the name of a text block (from Blender's text editor)

   

4. Animate the "Character Start" and "Character Count" integer properties to create the effect. You can also enable "randomize" to affect the timing of character appearance.
