Installing new version gives error #163

Sorry - I just checked closed issues and found my solution. I will try to upgrade php but as that might cause other problems could you let me have the plugin version that will work with earlier versions of php? Thanks |

Actual behavior:
Installed ABT & when I attempted to activate plugin Wordpress refused to do so citing
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/bsmmorg/public_html/FIT/wp-content/plugins/academic-bloggers-toolkit/lib/php/endpoints.php on line 50
On checking file in Dreamweaver lines 50, 61, 72, 133 & 161 all highlighted as containing syntax errors
