Why contribute?

r2modman is maintained by me, and solely me at the current time of writing. I can't implement every feature you may want on my own, and fixes are prioritized over new features.

By contributing, you can help make r2modman an even better manager! Everything from documentation comments, translations, all the way to big bold shiny new features can make a difference!

I want to help!

Great! If there's something you'd like to work on, fork the branch, implement the work, and raise an issue on the r2modmanPlus github page. You can then raise a pull request, I'll review it, and if everything is in order, it'll get approved and merged in!

If there's a problem, or a different solution that can be better implemented, I'll let you know, and either give you a chance to fix the pull request, or we'll agree to close it, and not merge the pull request.

Remember to test your changes before creating a pull request.

My pull request wasn't accepted

I'll try to give you a reason as to why it's not accepted, especially if it goes in a direction I'd dislike for the manager. Don't feel discouraged, instead, I'd recommend following the I want/dislike a feature! guide.

If something has been declined, please be polite, the manager tries to have a balance between user control and simplicity for newcomers.
