This change was necessary to fix issues with barcode scanning under fluorescent lighting conditions in warehouses. By enhancing the plugin API, developers can now choose camera resolutions and frame duration, which can adapt the barcode scanner's performance to different lighting conditions. No side effects are expected as these changes are optional and only requested during specific configuration setups.
