Could that be because the focus is on an input field? If that's the case, shortcuts are indeed disabled. Ctrl+left/right can be used to jump word by word inside an input field, for example.

But no, and it's actually even worse. For me these shortcuts don't work at all. Can you confirm that, @JasminNovotni?
