We might want to copy some code from https://github.com/elastic/beats/tree/master/libbeat/processors/add_cloud_metadata, but we definitely should not pull in libbeat as a dependency -- it's too big to force on applications. Perhaps we could pull the code in add_cloud_metadata into a separate module.
