Doing a random spot check I noticed a number of places where async methods were not being awaited (probably because the return value is not used. Request queuing in the browser service meant that missing awaits generally weren't a cause of flakiness but they can be a cause of uncaught promise rejections. Either way, the promises returned by these methods should be awaited before continuing.
