p1Must fix/implement before this is usable as a productT-DefectSomething isn't working: bugs, crashes, hangs, vulnerabilities, or other reported problems
Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
Using an Element Call room, https://call.element.io/jim-appointments I connected and appeared to be in the room; two others joined, but apparently were in a different room.
I will report if this problem reoccurs, and also try reusing this room to see if it is room specific.

Is it possible that some users were using the Beta 1 version of Element Call while you were using the Beta 2 version? The app was updated this morning and the two versions are incompatible, so if the others were somehow accessing it from a different URL, or someone didn't reload the app after the update happened, that would be an explanation.

yup, very likely that this is a stale cache of Beta 1. we really should add a warning in Beta 2 if it starts receiving unencrypted calls.
