Spaces search broken for subspace visibility settings

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a Space called "Parent Space" (room version 9)
2. Create a Space called "Sub Space" (room version 9)
3. Set "Parent Space" to Public add "Sub Space" as a nested space (Add spaces -> add existing)
4. Set "Sub Space" visibility to "Spaces"
5. Try editing "Edit which space can access here" in Visibility to allow "Parent Space" members to join "Sub Space" w/o invitation

Outcome

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
   I'd like to set a "Subspace"'s permissions to "Spaces" and allow members of the parent Space to join.
2. What do you click?
   Settings for a space -> Visbility settings -> Spaces -> Edit which space can access here

3. The Spaces search doesn't seem to work as it doesn't show any other spaces neither the "Parent Space"

What did you expect?

I've expected to allow members of "Parent Space" to allow joining the "Sub Space"

What happened instead?

It only shows that members of "Subspace" are able to see/join "Subspace"

I've realised how to workaround this issue. The "Sub Space" was created by itself (using the Plus button below the Home icon) and not from the "Parent Space" -> "Add Space" option. If you do it from there the inheritance for space members works correctly.
So now we have created a new "Sub Space" from "Parent Space" which has the correct permissions of "Spaces joinable by "Parent Space"" and moved all rooms over there.

My expectation would still be that the "Edit which space can access here" search lists all parent spaces or even all available spaces.
