The FMC_ADC100M_10B_TDC_16cha module is a versatile module designed for analysis of detector signals like GEM, SiPM where both precise time of arrival and pulse amplitude is required. Module features:

  • FMC HPC (compatible with LPC carries in TDC-only mode)
  • 4 x TDC-GPX2 converter offering 20ps RMS single shot resolution for all 16 channels
  • MMCX inputs for clock and trigger/RST_IDX signal
  • 2x SAS connectors handling 16 high-speed differential channels (1GHz BW for TDC)
  • ADC low pass filter
  • optional CFD for TDC or adjustable threshold mode
  • DC-coupled input
  • supported VADJ 1.8 & 2.5V
  • 2x ADC ADS5296A supporting modes:
    • 10-Bit,200-MSPS,8-Channels
    • 12-Bit,160-MSPS,8-Channels
    • 10-Bit,100-MSPS,16-Channels
    • 12-Bit,80-MSPS,16-Channels
  • parallel ADC and TDC operation (HPC connector required)
