Background

Issue on the Ketcher side: #6150.

Requirements

  1. Import/export of star atoms should be supported for the following formats:
  • MDL Molfile V2000
  • MDL Molfile V3000
  • SDF V2000
  • SDF V3000
  • RDF V2000 (?)
  • RDF V3000 (?)
  • Daylight SMARTS
  • Daylight SMILES
  • Extended SMILES
  • CML
  • SVG Document
  • PNG Image
  • CDXML
  • Base64 CDX
  • CDX
  1. If the user tries to export a structure with a star atom to the following formats:
  • InChI
  • InChI AuxInfo
  • InChIKey
    they should get an error message: "Convert error! core: is not a molecule"

Current error message.
