[Node Operator Question] SIGKILL error when attempting to make monorepo packages

Issue Description

When attempting to build the Optimism monorepo, make op-node is successful, however running pnpm build fails with the logs provided:

 This is after the successful builds of both core-utils and common-ts.
 
 I am following the 'Building a Node from Source' guide and this errors on step #4 of the 'Build the Optimism Monorepo' section

It looks like the version of foundry was updated in the monorepo recently. Can you try pnpm update:foundry and the try the build again? If you want a fresh start, you can do this from the root of the monorepo: rm -rf node_modules packages/*/node_modules && pnpm install && pnpm build

Okay I just got some information from a client engineer, it looks like your machine ran out of memory when building. So can you try free up some memory or trying it on a machine with more memory?

This is almost certainly an Out of Memory (OOM) error, so I'm going to mark this as the answer. But feel free to ping me to reopen this if you find that its something else.
