Difference from ffxiv

Theres a few differences between the games but trading in between the wow marketboard (aka the Auctionhouse) is very similar.

major differences in selling

  1. In wow the difference from ffxiv is that theres no retainers, no limits on amount of what you can trade, you can sell items immediately after making an alt

  2. Any stackable items are region wide so no point in cross realm trading commodities

  3. Auctions in wow can expire (can be set to 12 hrs. 24 hours or 48 hours) and it costs a certain amount to post an item based on its vendor sell price (higher vendor prices = more expensive to post)

  4. In wow addons are not vilified and are actively encouraged and supported by blizzard. For the Auctionhouse you should use these

wow token

The wow token changes many game aspects. In wow theres an item called the wow token. You can buy it from the blizzard store for $20 and sell it on the Auctionhouse for gold (usually 200k to 400k). This lets you buy gold if you want.

If you buy the token with gold then you can convert it into either a month of game time or $15 in game credit. This means that if you can earn lots of wow gold your game can be 100% free.

With the data also note wow only updates once per hour, but this comes direct for blizzard and everything is perfecty accurate. So you dont get immediate updates on stuff, but the data will only ever be 1 hr old. You can see when those updates happen here:

So the best way to make gold in wow is to trade across severs like in ffxiv. The difference is that you want 2 accounts open in 2 game windows, you then use this to trade hand to hand the items you want to sell between your alts. This is pretty easy to do with the wow game client and lets you buy and sell items anywhere instead of buying from anywhere and only selling on your home realm. So you just set up alts everywhere and buy and sell anything that doesn't stack like recipes, gear, toys, mounts, pets, wow glamors (called transmog), etc.

  1. Figure out what to sell: Use the marketshare searches or best deals to find good items you make want to look for and buy or items to craft (if you have professions):

  1. Sell High: Use the export search to find the best realm with the highest population to sell any items you buy or craft.
