Fleet is committed to maintaining CIS Benchmarks for Windows and Mac workstations.

Currently new versions of CIS Benchmarks for Mac were accepted by CIS but not published yet.

Adding this back to feature fest. Assuming CIS publishes the changes before the next feature fest (2024-11-14), this one will be prioritized then.

Hey @sharon-fdm, I peeled this user story off of this request. I assigned you to the story and moved it to "Ready to spec" on the drafting board.

I think let's start working on the user story as soon as we have the capacity.

I’m now thinking there’s no strong reason to wait for feature fest to prioritize this request.

EDIT: @noahtalerman: Whoops! Meant to tag @phtardif1

Hey @zayhanlon @pauldittmer2 heads up that we shipped most of the macOS 15 CIS benchmarks. You can find them here: https://github.com/fleetdm/fleet/blob/main/ee/cis/macos-15/cis-policy-queries.yml

In the current sprint we're working on adding several of the benchmarks we didn't get to and documented as missing. That's tracked in the user story here: #24647

Zay, I think we can notify customer-ufa that we've shipped the majority of benchmarks and more are coming. I moved this request to the customer success board to help you remember to let them know. Please feel free to remove it from your board when you're ready to.
