This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.

Use Prod Build

Run

npm run build
# or
yarn build

to create a production ready build of your project. Create an environment file called '.env' in your top level directory. Inside this file set all needed environment variables (e.g. SECRET_COOKIE_PASSWORD=U7EgrfyiNWzL542URk4w7UKcD7viDCw2DL1tDyG).

run

npm run start
# or
yarn start

to start the server.

Use Docker

You can build your container with docker build . -t my-next-js-app and run it with docker run -e SECRET_COOKIE_PASSWORD=32CHARACTERS-LONG-PASSWORD -p 3000:3000 my-next-js-app. As described here
