As Internet Explorer 11 does not support CSS variables and modern JS the page is not usable due to JS errors and unreadable text.

Therefore a basic support would be an enhancement.

JS errors discovered while testing #19

@FelixWiedemann In addition to #19 I added a basic Internet Explorer 11 support (removal of JS errors and minimal styling).
